Immersion Cooling R&D
Next-generation cooling for AI & high-density compute
IglooRack is developing immersion cooling technology as an ongoing R&D program in a Technopark in Turkey—focused on innovation, prototyping, and the future of data center infrastructure.

Why immersion cooling
A major shift in modern data center thermal design
Immersion cooling submerges IT hardware in a dielectric fluid to remove heat more efficiently than air. As rack power densities rise, operators are exploring liquid-based approaches to improve thermal stability, reduce cooling overhead, and unlock higher compute per square meter.

What’s driving the change
AI and GPU density are accelerating cooling requirements
AI training and inference clusters are pushing power and heat flux beyond what traditional air cooling can handle economically at scale.
Higher rack power density
GPU-heavy deployments increase thermal load per rack, driving demand for more effective heat removal.
Efficiency and sustainability pressure
Operators are prioritizing lower PUE, reduced cooling energy, and better heat reuse potential.
Operational stability at scale
Consistent thermals help protect hardware performance and reliability in high-utilization environments.
Infrastructure modernization
Next-gen facilities are being designed around liquid cooling readiness for future workloads.
Our R&D focus areas

Prototype development
Designing and iterating on immersion tank concepts, serviceability, and mechanical architecture.
Thermal and system engineering
Evaluating heat transfer performance, fluid behavior, and integration requirements for AI/HPC environments.
Deployment readiness research
Studying operational considerations such as maintenance workflows, facility interfaces, and scalability.

Research & Development
Advancing the Future of High-Density Data Center Cooling
IglooRack is developing next-generation immersion cooling technology to support AI/HPC infrastructure—focused on innovation, prototyping, and engineering validation.

Why immersion cooling?
Built for AI/GPU power density
AI training and high-density GPU clusters are pushing rack heat loads beyond what traditional air cooling can handle efficiently. Immersion cooling addresses these limits by removing heat directly at the source and stabilizing component temperatures.
Energy efficiency
Reduce cooling overhead and improve PUE by transferring heat more effectively than air.
Lower cooling costs
Decrease fan power and mechanical cooling demand—supporting lower operating costs at high densities.
Improved reliability
More stable thermals can reduce hotspots and thermal cycling, supporting longer component life.
Better performance headroom
Maintain consistent temperatures to help sustain boost clocks and predictable performance under load.
Our vision
Scalable cooling infrastructure for next-gen compute
We are building a practical, scalable immersion cooling platform designed for real-world deployment—supporting AI infrastructure, edge data centers, and HPC environments where density, efficiency, and serviceability matter.
